The popular eight auspicious Buddhist symbols are: a parasol, a pair of golden fish, a treasure vase, a lotus, a right spiralling conch shell, an endless knot, a victory banner and an eight spoked golden wheel. They represent royal protection, conjugal happiness, prosperity, purity, sovereignty, endless wisdom and compassion, spiritual victory and the dissemination of the dharma. The banner can be placed in the entrance to the home, workplace or meditation room.
