About Us Windhorse Imports has been trading since 1987. We supply Dharma items to educational establishments, museums, retail outlets and individuals throughout the UK, Europe and the USA.

Our product range is being constantly updated as we travel regularly to Nepal. Please do not hesitate to contact us directly if you have a particular requirement, as we may have it in stock, or be able to source it for you.

Ethics Policy

Many of our products are made exclusively for Windhorse Imports to our own design. We work closely with highly skilled families of craftsmen in Nepal. Most of these families have been producing high quality artworks for many generations. It is our hope that by supporting these families and their co-operatives, such skills will be preserved within their communities for the future. We personally visit most of the Nepalese production facilities involved to ensure goods are ethically produced and without using child labour. We also support educational projects within Nepal and Tibet. All statues and artefacts supplied by us have been passed for export by the Nepalese Department of Archaeology.

We recycle most of the packaging in which our goods are imported and also use recycled boxes where possible for despatch.

Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

NO CARD DETAILS ARE RECEIVED OR RETAINED BY THE WINDHORSE IMPORTS SITE.

When your transaction has gone through successfully you will see a 'Transaction Successful' message at the top of the Secure Payment screen with your order reference and purchase total. You can print out your detailed receipt.

You will also be sent an email confirming the details.

We accept most major credit cards, cheque, postal order, bank draft or eurocheque (up to £700 per cheque) in payment and will accept US$ calculated at the current exchange rate.

Shipping And Handling Shipping and handling

This is 10% of order up to a maximum of £10. Minimum Postage £3.00

( USA - Shipping is 15% of order up to a maximum of £22.00 minimum postage £5.00 )

Delivery Schedule Since our stock availability is variable we will email you on receipt of an order specifying availability and delivery dates. We aim to despatch stock orders within 3 days of receipt.

International Enquiries and Orders: Enquiries and orders outside the UK are welcome.

Wholesale Terms: Retail Outlets ordering more than £150 or $300 are eligible for our very competitive wholesale rates . We will visit shops or centres for wholesale trade. In house viewing by appointment.

Wholesalers need to be registered with Windhorse and will be given a link to our wholesale page. If you want to register as a wholesaler, please supply your full postal address and telephone number and we will send our full colour catalogue and prices by return.

Back Orders In the unlikely event that your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are processed by SECURE TRADING, a leading secure payment provider. They are not received or stored by us and they are not held in clear text on any web site.

Returns Policy We are committed to customer satisfaction. If any item is damaged on arrival, please contact us immediately. If you are dissatisfied your purchase in any way, you may return the item(s) within 5 days of your taking delivery. We will refund the purchase price and, where the item has been damaged in transit, the cost of your postage.
